Inter-American Court invites registrations for three self-study courses

San José, Costa Rica, December 21, 2022. The Inter-American Court of Human Rights invites interested persons to register for its three new self-study courses, which will be available on the Court's website from February 15, 2023.

This training opportunity consists of the following courses:

- Introduction to the Inter-American System for the Protection of Human Rights

- Access and procedures before the Inter-American Commission and Court of Human Rights, and

- The right to equality and the principle of non-discrimination.

Each course is organized in a study program containing ten classes recorded by a teaching team of experts and is complemented by additional training resources. The courses are presented in Spanish. The English and Portuguese language versions will be available to the public in the first quarter of 2023 and the respective announcements will be made through the Inter-American Court’s website and social networks

The courses aim to disseminate the work of the Inter-American Court and its case law. As a result, no evaluation is carried out and no certificates of participation of any nature will be presented, without exception.

The courses are free and universally accessible. You can register from now until January 30, 2023, using the forms at the following links. Registrations by other means or outside the dates indicated will not be accepted.
