San José, Costa Rica, July 6, 2022. On June 30, 2022, as part of the Initial Training Course for Applicants to the Judiciary (FIAJ being its acronym in Spanish) of the Judicial School of Costa Rica, the Inter-American Court inaugurated the Protection of Human Rights Module: "Refresher course on the Inter-American Court of Human Rights’ Case Law", which is aimed at approximately 35 candidates to the judiciary of Costa Rica.

The inaugural module was led by instructors from the team of lawyers from the Inter-American Court of Human Rights: Celeste Novelli, Ariana Macaya, Pablo González and Alexei Julio. The course continues with a self-training segment and a new videoconference session and ends on August 4, 2022.

This human rights training activity is part of the collaboration agreement between the Inter-American Court and the Judicial School of Costa Rica.
